Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial, and industrial settings, including manufacturing plants, warehouses, and buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national electrical codes.
- Diagnose electrical issues, faults, malfunctions and implement effective solutions to restore functionality.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems and ensure system reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks and ensure a safe working
environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and Supervisor to coordinate workflow and
address project requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Valid and current Idaho Journeyman Electrician license.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical trade, preferably 1-2 years of industrial
experience.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including 480V three phase, 240V three phase high leg delta, DC Motors, components, and wiring methods.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose complex electrical issues.
- Experience with PLCs, motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and instrumentation preferred.
- Ability to use electric conduit benders, hand benders and pipe threaders.
- Knowledge of raceway installations of PVC, EMT, Rigid, Flex, MC, AC
- Experience working with Motor Control Centers (MCC)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with NEC electrical codebook and local and state
regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must have own tools for the trade.
